Stress and Anxiety Reduction Class for the High School Student
Developing skills to address academic, social, and performance anxiety
High school students are experiencing more academic and social pressure than ever. High levels of stress can lead to sleep issues, feelings of depression, increased risk of illness and can often get in the way of students meeting their goals. This group will provide participants with evidenced-based strategies to address feelings of overwhelm, stress, and anxiety that many face.
- Learning to identify irrational ways of thinking that lead to anxiety
- Learning to challenge irrational thinking
- Mindfulness and relaxation skills to reduce stress
Space is limited to 5 participants!
The 6-week session is $700. Each class will meet for 75 minutes one evening a week. The class will be held at 2088 Union Street., San Francisco.
